Staying Well & Thriving during Uncertain Times: Finding Opportunities for Positive Change

Date to be Determined

Physical distancing can make us feel anxious, isolated, uncertain, and lonely, and a whole lot more than we are used to. We have all lost our ‘normal’ life and trying to find ways to stay well in this new ‘normal.’

The Covid-19 pandemic has given us time to self-reflect, re-evaluate priorities, and connect with others in a more meaningful way. For some people, Coronavirus fatigue has set in, which may include restlessness, boredom, and worry about the future opening of our towns and cities, and our global future in general. For others, evaluating our behaviours, realizing what is most important and meaningful in our lives, and seeing opportunities–are also taking place. We all need to make meaning out of our experiences during COVID-19, and it will not be the same for everyone.

This session is about building our strengths and wellbeing in the midst of, and despite of, the pandemic. How to stay active, responsible, connected, resilient, respected and aware.

The facilitator is Libby Kostromin,  Facilitator at JFSE Edmonton Healing Center.
