Currently Jewish Family Services holds the following Endowments and Reserves:
- Shragge Endowment – established from a bequest by Ida Shragge z”l, with proceeds to be used by Jewish Family Services where the need is greatest.
- David & Clara Mintz Endowment – established by their children to preserve their memory, with proceeds to be used to assist children to attend Jewish summer camps when the cost would otherwise be an obstacle.
- Lilli & Emanuel Schlesinger Endowment – established by their children from Holocaust victim compensation payments to preserve their memory, with proceeds to be used to assist with the practical needs of Jewish Family Services clients.
- Vaughn & Janice Seward Purse – established and supported on an ongoing basis by the Sewards, to be used to assist with the practical needs of Jewish Family Services clients.
- Sigma Alpha Mu Reserve – established by the trustees of the defunct Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity to assist Jewish students with the cost of education at the University of Alberta.
- Kevura Reserve – established in collaboration with the Edmonton Chevra Kadisha (Jewish burial society) to assist with funerals for Jewish people where the cost is a burden to the family.
- The River Community Church Purse – established and supported on an ongoing basis by The River Community Church, to be used to assist with the needs of immigrants coming to Jewish Family Services.
