JFS Edmonton is looking for a Service Canada eligible student applicant for the summer! ( 8 weeks, 35 hours /week)

The Social Media and Marketing role includes tasks such as supporting the agency by:
• Developing an expanded social media communication system for the agency
• Developing a portfolio to capture client success stories for use in future publicity or funding requests
• Actively increasing agency’s presence on social media- Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, plus our website
• Enhancing our e-newsletter format for quarterly production and coordinating distribution
• Authoring/collecting articles for e-newsletter, establishing a reserve for future use
• Developing a manual of required tasks to ensure sustainability of the e-newsletter and social media presence

-excellent writing skills
-experience with project management and research
-excellent computer skills especially with MS Office and preferably WordPress
-Proficient with all social media
-self-motivated, articulate

To be eligible, students must:
• be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
• be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act2; and,
• be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
